SUBSCRIPTION & REFUNDS
Subscription & Refund Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective October 6, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to GeeBird subscriptions provided by GeeBird LLC. GeeBird LLC operates the service and receives payments. It is registered in Colorado, United States, with its registered principal office at 3229 Walnut St Suite 734, Boulder, CO 80301, United States. Contact us at support@geebird.com. This policy does not cover returns or refunds for products merchants sell to buyers, or replace the separate terms of Shopify or other third-party services.
2. Plans and payment confirmation
GeeBird offers free and paid plans. The features, connected-store limits, credits, currency, billing period and price confirmed at purchase govern your plan. Viewing prices on the homepage does not create a charge. Check the amount, taxes, billing period and renewal terms before confirming payment.
The current billing interface integrates Pancake Checkout and the customer portal. The actual interface indicates whether payments are available and whether test mode is active. Test transactions are not real charges and should not be used as proof of payment.
3. Billing periods and renewal
Paid plans offer monthly and annual billing; annual plans are billed for the full year. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next renewal. Upcoming charge dates and amounts are shown at checkout and in subscription management. Review them before paying, and keep your order, billing and subscription confirmations.
If a payment is pending or failed, refresh its status on the billing page or contact support before paying again. A failed initial payment or upgrade payment does not activate the new benefits. If renewal fails, you have a 7-day period to complete payment, with notice sent by account email or an in-app message. The payment provider may retry during that period. If payment is still unsuccessful when the period ends, paid features are suspended and restored after successful payment. Retries do not incur extra penalties or issue the same period’s allowance twice. Suspension does not delete projects.
4. Credits and usage allowances
Plan credits are issued and reset each subscription month. Unused plan credits expire at the reset and do not roll over; they do not all expire at the end of the calendar month. For example, a subscription beginning October 15 next resets on November 15. Annual plans also reset monthly, rather than receiving a full year’s credits at once. Your account records show your reset date and available balance.
Purchased top-up credits do not expire. Credits charged for a failed generation or a task you actively cancel are returned; a credit return is not a cash refund. Plan credits are used before top-up credits. If you upgrade during a subscription month, your existing balance is retained and the difference between the old and new monthly allowances is prorated for the remaining time, rounded up. The next reset issues the new plan’s full monthly allowance. A downgrade keeps the existing allowance until it takes effect, after which the new allowance applies. Switching from monthly to annual billing starts a new monthly credit cycle: the previous plan balance is cleared and the new period’s allowance is issued. Top-up credits are unaffected. Failed or canceled tasks return credits to their original source. Plan credits returned after their original reset date remain available for 30 days from the return date and are spent first; they do not become permanent top-up credits. A completed task is not eligible for a credit return through a later cancellation. If a balance appears incorrect, provide your account and task identifiers so we can investigate.
5. Changing or canceling a subscription
Sign in, open the billing page and select ‘Manage subscription’ to view or make available changes and cancellations in the Pancake customer portal. Upgrades within the same billing frequency take effect immediately after the additional payment succeeds, with the difference prorated for the remaining time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid term: existing benefits remain until then, and the price difference is not refunded. For annual plans, a downgrade takes effect at the end of the annual term. Switching from monthly to annual billing takes effect immediately; unused monthly fees are credited toward the annual charge and a new annual term begins. Switching from annual to monthly billing takes effect when the annual term ends. The amount due and effective date are shown before the change. Contact support if you cannot complete it. Canceling renewal stops future renewals while retaining benefits until the paid term ends.
Keep your cancellation confirmation and check the subscription status. Signing out, deleting a project or uninstalling the Shopify app should not be treated as canceling a subscription established through an external payment channel. Canceling future renewals is separate from refunding fees already paid.
6. Requesting a refund
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you have not used any credits. Renewals, used subscriptions and credit purchases are generally non-refundable, subject to review for duplicate charges, service failures and applicable legal requirements. When closing your account, you may request a refund for unused top-up credits based on their actual purchase value. Promotional and plan credits have no cash redemption value. Amounts already refunded or charged back will not be refunded again. Restricting an account for a violation does not automatically forfeit its balance; transactions, suspected fraud and legal restrictions must be reviewed. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
To request a refund or report a duplicate charge, email support@geebird.com with your account email, order or invoice number, charge date, amount and reason. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords or sign-in codes. We normally complete our review within 5 business days after receiving all necessary information. If further checks are needed, we will explain why and give an estimated timeframe. Submitting a request does not mean it is approved. Credits charged solely for failed or canceled tasks and fully returned do not count as used credits.
If approved, we normally initiate a refund to the original payment method within 5 business days. The payment provider determines when it reaches you. If the original method cannot be used, we will confirm an alternative with you. A full subscription refund ends the corresponding paid benefits and removes the remaining plan credits issued by that subscription. A top-up refund removes the corresponding unused credits without affecting other purchased balances. GeeBird subscriptions are separate from Shopify store subscriptions and other app fees. Contact the relevant provider for charges from another service.
7. Invoices, taxes and records
Available bills and invoices can be viewed or downloaded through the Pancake customer portal, accessed from the billing page. Taxes and exchange-rate details are governed by the actual checkout, payment-provider and billing records. If you have questions about an amount or the payment recipient, contact support before paying.
8. Updates and contact details
This version takes effect on October 6, 2026. It does not retroactively change transaction terms you previously accepted. We will announce material updates by account email or an in-app notice, state their effective date and obtain renewed confirmation where required.
